SCVO membership is at a record high as more organisations realise we are stronger together.

Our membership is made up of over 1300 organisations.  Our members employ over 50,000 people which is more than 40% of the total paid workforce of the sector.  The sector does not just have paid staff, there are over 1.3million volunteers too.  Every year the sector generates over £4.1 billion to help people and communities across Scotland.

The voluntary sector in Scotland is far reaching.  From social enterprises to nursery groups and support for refugees to environmental lobbying, our members are working to make Scotland a better place to live.
