The HICCaP website gives training providers the opportunity to register on our website, advertise the services you offer, and promote the training courses and events you organise. In order to ensure that the service promotes only providers and training courses of quality and relevance, the submissions are vetted by the website administrator before inclusion on the site.
We hope to build the most comprehensive database of training providers and training events available to the third sector and we encourage you to complete our on-line form and register accordingly, which is completely free. The numbers of staff and volunteers working in the Third Sector in Scotland are very considerable and therefore the HICCaP website will reach a large audience.
In order to try and reduce duplication of information, details submitted to the HICCaP website will automatically be copied to the Learning Works website. If you do not wish this information to be shared, please indicate on the form.
To ensure that your courses and services are found by users searching the HICCaP Course Calendar and Trainer Directory, we advise you to map your courses against the Skills Framework developed by the Scottish Centre for Regeneration. This is the framework used to underpin HICCaP's training needs diagnostic tool for third sector organisations. The Course Mapping Guideline will help you with this process.
