SCVO is working in partnership with Inclusion Scotland to create paid internships within third sector organisations for disabled people.

Who can apply?

There are restrictions on who is able to apply to be an intern.

All Disability Equality Internship opportunities are open to graduates who:-

  •  define as disabled under the Equality Act 2010 which defines disability as: someone who has a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities
  • are unemployed or under employed

How to apply

    1. Read the Opportunity Description, Person Specification and application instructions.
    2. Complete the internship application form. This is available in two formats: full form fill boxes or text only. If you require another format e.g. larger print, braille, audio tape etc. contact equalityinterns@scvo.org.uk
    3. Submit by stated closing date to Moira Cuthbertson, SCVO, 3rd Floor, Brunswich House, 51 Wilson Street, Glasgow, G1 1UZ or email it to equalityinterns@scvo.org.uk
