My role involves managing the European Unit services.

The Unit currently manages a small grants programme through the Global Grants stream of the Scottish Objective 3 Programme which will distribute £3.2 million over the next 3 years. 

We are also completing another small grants programme supported by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust.  The EQUAL Theme D Development Partnership is also housed within the Unit as well as a Leadership Development Pilot funded through two West of Scotland Local Enterprise Companies.

I am responsible for the implementation of the leadership development programme in the west of Scotland.

I liaise with training providers to design the training, and am responsible for the promotion, and recruitment of participants to the programme.

My main responsibilities in co-coordinating the implementation of the programme include managing the training activities, providing support to participants as well as dealing with day-to-day project administration. My role also involves keeping partners updated of project progress.
