Our information service (Freephone: 0800 169 0022) will help answer your questions on a variety of topics, from setting up and running a charity to managing people and resources. Organisations with an annual income of less than £500,000 can also benefit from up to two hours of free expert advice via our pro bono legal service, delivered in partnership with Harper Macleod, Lindsays and MacRoberts.

Our discounted range of services and deals – from insurance policies to IT software & hardware has been developed to help our members make their money go further. While our shared services approach to accommodation, payroll and recruitment, will also provide our members with affordable solutions which enable them to concentrate more of their time on core business.
- Helping you make connections
SCVO enables member organisations, their staff and volunteers to make connections with others with a shared interest. We facilitate regular meetings of employability, policy and PR networks, as well as a network of national intermediary organisations. In addition, we help our members identify and share good practice by linking them with other organisations involved in a similar cause or area of activity.

Our training programme provides a menu of learning and development opportunities for staff, trustees and volunteers. Areas of interest featured in our programme for 2010/11 include finance and funding, governance, management and workforce development.
