We’re want your help to create a gallery of photographs showing community, voluntary or charity activity taking place in Bo’ness as part of our Charity Town project.

How to get involved

Photographs taken within the last three years which show people volunteering, working or enjoying activities run by community groups.

They could be images of Bo’ness Fair, Thomas the Tank Engine Day at the steam railway, or Bo’ness and Carriden band rehearsing or performing.

They could also be images of people receiving meals on wheels, donating or collecting from a foodbank, or even buying something in a charity shop.

Where the photographs will appear

We will use the photographs to illustrate the Charity Town project on our website and social media, and the best images will be displayed at the Gathering in Glasgow in February 2016, where they’ll be seen by around 3000 people.

One image will be chosen as the overall winner and the photographer will get £100 to donate to a local charity of their choice (or keep for themselves if they prefer). The photographer of the winning image will also be invited to the Gathering to open the exhibition.
