What's new in community
regeneration?
SCVO is working in close partnership with the
Scottish Centre for Regeneration (SCR), part of
Communities
Scotland. The SCR’s work is informed by the Scottish Executive’s Community Regeneration statement - Better Communities in Scotland: Closing the Gap.
The
SCR helps build skills and expertise and share knowledge among those
working in regeneration. The Centre is responsible for developing new and practical approaches to regeneration and the promotion of
best practice.
The SCR launched an
eBulletin service in January 2005. Designed
for anyone involved in community regeneration, this free monthly
service aims to keep people up to date with what’s happening across
Scotland and beyond. Focusing each month on a different theme in
regeneration, the eBulletin includes updates on the SCR's work
programme, funding opportunities, policy and development news and
forthcoming events.
The
eBulletin is also a way for you to make contacts and build networks,
share ideas and tell others what you do.
As part of this service, interested parties are invited to
place requests for information that could help you in your work.
If you have information you would
like
to share more widely contact
Moira Tasker.
The
SCR eBulletin is issued on the last Wednesday of every month to
