Martin Sime - Chief Executive
As the senior staff member of SCVO Martin’s job is to lead the Management Team and report to the Board, Policy Committee and members on what we do. In practice much of Martin’s work is facing outwards, building relationships with other sectors and with the Executive and Parliament, and opening up new opportunities for SCVO and the Scottish voluntary sector. Martin has worked in the sector for over 20 years.

Lucy McTernan - Director of Corporate Affairs
As Director of Corporate Affairs Lucy is responsible for sustaining good external relationships with the Scottish Parliament and Executive, and SCVOs key stakeholders in the public and private as well as voluntary sector. SCVO's research, policy development and policy co-ordination and communications functions fall within the role as does facilitating the organisation's strategic planning. Planning towards hosting the CIVCUS World Assembly is adding an international dimension.

John Ferguson - Director of Development Programmes
Leading the work of both Development and Programmes (Glasgow) and Rural Affairs (Inverness) Assistant Directors. This involves New Deal and Employment Initiatives, Equalities Promotion, Social Economy Activities, the Rural Dimension of Scottish Voluntary Sector and includes engagement with and monitoring of European Structural Funds nationally and transnationally.

Paul White - Director of Networks
Paul White joined SCVO as Director of Networks in May 2004 and has responsibility for developing the national network of Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS), as well as promoting collaborative work between other voluntary sector networks. He also has responsibility for SCVO's business relations, information, membership and training functions. Paul's activity in these areas is underpinned by a commitment to exploring partnership opportunities which best meet the needs of voluntary organisations and communities across Scotland.
