Essential Holyrood provides regular updates of information and news from the Scottish Parliament, written with voluntary sector organisations in mind. Here you can find fresh information on what is coming up in committee meetings and debates, and new Scottish Executive and Scottish Parliament consultations. You can also read summarised reports on the main items of interest discussed in committee meetings, debates, ministerial statements and during Question Time, and keep an eye on the subject matter of motions tabled. Wherever possible, policy areas of interest to the voluntary sector appear bolded and in alphabetical order, so that you can scroll easily to the parts of Essential Holyrood of most interest to your organisation. Where appropriate, links are included to the full reports contained on the Scottish Parliament website and other sources of information.
