Scotland's Voluntary Sector Manifesto
SCVO is pleased to launch Scotland’s Voluntary Sector Manifesto. This is a uniquely collaborative document drawing together many voices from across the voluntary sector. It is designed to encourage debate, new thinking and real change in the way we work together to the benefit of Scotland’s communities. We will be promoting the manifesto over the coming months and particularly in the run up to the 2007 elections.

SCVO Response - Protecting Vulnerable Groups
This outlines SCVO's May 2006 response to the Scottish Executive proposals on protecting vulnerable groups. It highlights significant issues for the sector including a lack of capacity in some voluntary organisations, a lack of funding for the implementation of this legislation and proposals for retrospective checking of the entire workforce working with vulnerable groups.

SCVO Submission - Charities and Benevolent Fundraising Regulations
This is a submission from March 2006 on this Scottish Executive consultation stemming from the Charity Law Act. These proposals cover certain fundraising activities by voluntary organisations, professional fundraisers and commercial participators in fundraising campaigns. The key issues include whether a fundraiser should make a statement outlining their remuneration with each solicitation of funds and whether donors should have a cooling off period to request a refund.
