Description:

The Village Halls Summit 2008 is for everyone involved in managing or supporting rural Scotland's village halls and other community facilities. Participants in the Summit will look at the challenges facing these vital community assets and map out a way forward to develop, maintain and sustain them for future generations. The Keynote Speaker is Richard Lochhead, Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment. The event is free and support is available for expenses for representatives of small community-based organisations.
