Big Lottery Fund is responsible for giving out half the money for good causes raised by the National Lottery, a budget of about £630 million a year. It is committed to bringing real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need.

Big Lottery Fund’s Dynamic, Inclusive Communities (DInC) investment area is open only to Scotland’s voluntary and community sector. It is about helping this sector build and strengthen itself. The £20 million available under this investment area will be used to nurture and sustain dynamic, inclusive communities throughout Scotland by creating the conditions and an infrastructure through which healthy and vigorous voluntary and community sector activity can occur. It will achieve positive outcomes for volunteers, communities, voluntary organisations, and society more broadly.
