Leading In Change

The Leading In Change project is one of three portfolio projects that are awaiting approval from the BIG Lottery Fund before they are progressed.  We will keep you up to date with developments on this.

PROJECT AIM

To support boards and senior staff of CVS in developing their skills for dynamic, creative and collaborative leadership and better enable them to support and facilitate voluntary organisations to effective anticipate, prepare for and influence change.  The Project will ensure:

  • CVS boards and chief officers will have increased leadership skills
  • CVS staff and board members will have increased skills to create and maintain collaboration and linkages across different support agencies
  • The CVS network will have increased ability to develop and maintain structures to support and develop the Network.
  • CVS will have increased ability to support change and promote partnership in the voluntary sector

FUNDING ALLOCATED £410,807

DYNAMIC INCLUSIVE COMMUNITIES OUTCOMES TO WHICH IT WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Voluntary and community sector action is more vibrant, connected with communities and able to champion change
  • Improved equalities knowledge and practice is witnessed across the voluntary and community sectors
