PROJECT AIM

To develop a common CVS Network approach to collection, analysis and publication of data about the voluntary sector, locally and nationally. The project will mean:

  • CVS will have improved knowledge and understanding of the voluntary sector along with increased understanding and recognition for the CVS Network amongst stakeholders
  • Stakeholders for the voluntary sector will have improved access to accurate and up to date information about the voluntary sector
  • Voluntary and community organisations will have better information in order to deliver better services.
  • CVS and partners will spend less time gathering information that is already available so releasing resources to delivering services
  • CVS will be better recognised and valued by stakeholders as experts on the local voluntary sector
  • There will be increased operational quality in and consistency of information across the CVS Network

  • Voluntary and community sector action is more vibrant, connected with communities and able to champion change
  • Voluntary and community sector organisations are better managed, better governed and deliver better services
  • Improved equalities knowledge and practice is witnessed across the voluntary and community sectors
