26 May 08 Delivery of a specialist ICT Advisor
There is an assumption that capability exists or could be developed within SCVO and the CVS network (and/or within the wider network of voluntary sector intermediaries organisations) to deliver an effectively managed connective ICT system, potentially on a consortium model. However an impartial external Advisor is required to test this assumption and to advise on successful roll out.
26 May 08 Baseline Review & Development of Common Approach
Two distinct but complementary areas of work: - Coordination and assistance of the development of a common, quality assured, CVS network approach to collection, analysis and publication of data about the voluntary sector. - a baseline review of CVS capacity for implementing a common approach to collection, analysis and publication of data about the voluntary sector.
26 May 08 Think Tanks Coordinator / Facilitator
The Think Tank Coordinator / Facilitator will work with two 'Think Tanks' to develop a shared vision and direction and in crafting solutions to current and future challenges. This will include organising events and preparing reports.
25 Jul 08 Audit of CVS Organisational Capacity
There is a current knowledge gap as to the approaches, abilities and specialist skills employed across the CVS network in organisational development support. The first stage of the project will therefore be an audit of CVS capacity in and approaches to organisational development which will consider: • People involved in or available to provide organisational development support • Skills that CVS have in providing organisational development support • Tools and techniques CVS use in providing organisational development support • Networks and partnerships CVS engage in to support their organisational development services
25 Jul 08 Baseline Review
