The Supporting Voluntary Action programme has been developed in response to the following brief from the BIG Lottery Fund.

"To bring about a substantial, strategic, quantifiable and sustainable improvement in the infrastructure, capacity and effectiveness of the Councils for Voluntary Service network and in its engagement and collaboration with other voluntary and equalities sector infrastructure networks in Scotland, and with local and national statutory bodies."

May 2008 Quality Event - SVA Briefing paper for delegates and annexes available online - Posted Date: 30 Apr 08
Members of the CVS Network who are attending the Quality Conference from 8-10 May 2008 have been sent an update briefing on the Supporting Voluntary Action programme, adapted from a submission to the Big Lottery of 25 April 2008. However as there were a number of annexes to this document it was not feasible to include all of these. You can now access the briefing and all the annexes here.

The current members of the SVA Management Group who are taken from different partners including CVS from around the country. The Management Group has delegated responsibility for the SVA Programme from the SCVO Management Board.
