Funding for learning

ILA Scotland logo

ILA Scotland is a Scottish Government scheme that helps you pay for learning that you can do at a time, place, pace and in a way to suit you.  It’s for people who have an income of £22,000 a year or less, or who are on benefits.

You could be eligible for an Individual Learning Account which could save you £200 on the cost of any of SCVO’s courses.  For more information about how to apply for an ILA, check out the ILA Scotland website for more information.

Please note that your ILA must be opened before the start date of the course.  The application process can take up to 4 weeks so it is important open your account well in advance of the start date.

If you have any queries about using your ILA on an SCVO course, email Helen Swatton.
