It is important to remember that management is a task for everyone involved in a voluntary organisation and not simply down to one person’s job title. This is especially true for the hall management committee. If they do not have any staff they will have to undertake management tasks themselves. If they do employ a manager even when clear areas of responsibility have been established they will have to manage that person and his or her workload!
